there were crazy lightening storms last thur night and what

better way to spark creativity.

we finished this around 3 am the other night.

i needed to see something every day to keep me going and keep me grounded.

today we started photographing pillows soon to be on sale.

we cleared space in our apartment, set it all up, starting shooting and realized...

eh, we weren't really feeling it. NOW WHAT?!?

We thought, wouldn't this feel better outside with some tall grass & a dreamy backdrop?

The forecast called for possible rain, so we quickly packed up our gear and jumped in the car in search of just such a place.

we had stumbled upon a random patch of beach/park between Coney Island and Sea Gate in Brooklyn pre-winter and thought it might be the perfect spot to revisit.

2010 was a doozy and I wanted to give up on i am dorkas  every other day.

the more I strayed from it, the more I gravitated to it, so I accepted this addiction.

I wanted to start fresh! 

and create a new website/blog and learn to really love this beast.
